Salam..
Now nak share info tentang CTG plak.. most of preggy mommy akan lalui detik menggunakan CTG ni,
bila masanye sudah sampai..
Jom layan Info yang sedikit ni..
What is a cardiotocograph?
A cardiotocograph (CTG) is a form of Doppler ultrasound that can be used to monitor your baby's heartbeat to see that it beats at a normal rate and variability.
A healthy baby's heart rate varies from beat to beat and increases when the baby moves.
Women with a normal pregnancy don't need to have a CTG(NCCWCH 2008: 277) .
If you are feeling your baby moving regularly during the day, he is most likely to be fine. Contact your doctor if your baby's movements slow down.
You can ask your doctor to listen to your baby's heartbeat at your antenatal check-ups.
A CTG which is used during labour is also known as electronic fetal monitoring (EFM). It can be used to monitor your baby's heartbeat and your contractions during labour.
In a low-risk pregnancy and labour it's not usually necessary (NCCWCH 2007: 155). Doctors have other ways of monitoring your baby which are less likely to interfere with your labour.
